Root Canals
A root canal can help save a badly decayed tooth from requiring an extraction. While many people may be intimidated by a root canal, it's a very common procedure. During a root canal procedure, the nerve and pulp are removed, and the inside of the tooth will be cleaned and sealed. A filling is then used to cover the access point. In some cases, a crown is recommended if the tooth was heavily decayed.
